Class, in the future we will need no router or similar software / hardware to content such as movie, music and photo from a device to stream to another. As DLNA is transmissible this data via Wi-Fi direct in the future.
So a film can be for example of a notebook streamed to the Smartphone or tablet, without annoying shares, special player or server software. This, by the way only a device must support the new standard. Chic thing as addition to the streaming via AirPlay or Bluetooth. Beautiful, worked in the development and dissemination of streaming protocols, because what is still missing Windows, is something which is reminiscent of Apple’s AirPlay. (via, via)

TiPb and Jim: Will iPad transition product to product line from?
We’ve been arguing for while now here at TiPb about whether Apple wants to leave the iPad as a singular product, the way iPhone and iPod touch are, or transition it to a product line, the way MacBooks are?
So far Apple has resisted even leaving last year’s model available as a cheaper 8 GB entry – level model, the way they’ve done of the with the iPhone since of the iPhone 3 g and experimented with one year with the iPod touch 2.
There were rumors earlier this year that Apple might push up the release of IOS 3 (or iPad 2 Pro) to this instance, resulting in two iPads being available — the still current IOS 2 and the more expensive, retina display version. According to TiPb’s sources, however, has since moved IOS 3 back to the traditional spring release schedule, perhaps because those retina displays can not yet be produced cheaply or consistently enough to meet Apple’s demand.
When iPad 3 is released next year, Apple will take the opportunity to leave iPad 2 on the market, perhaps at a cheaper $399 for 8 GB price point? That’s a small step towards making a product into a product line.
The bigger leap would be multiple screen sizes. 7 inch tablets have been released by Samsung and BlackBerry, what going to be released by HP webOS, and rumor has it will soon be released by Amazon. None other than Steve Jobs has said Apple doesn’t like the 7 inch size, that it’s not a great experience, that it required people to shave down their finger. But he also said people didn’t want to watch video on their iPods and we all know how that turned out…
What about a bigger screen size? Samsung already makes pretty much every sized tablet from 5 to 11 inches – 1/2 inch increments! -but much larger tablets still haven’t really been tested. If rumors of Apple stretching the retina display on iPhone 5 to 3.7 or 4 inches turn out to be true, they could’t try to stretch the rumored retina display on an iPad 3 (or iPad 3 Pro) to 12 inches? I know, speculation based on secrets stacked that high is the blogging equivalent of playing Jenga on top of unicorns riding on rainbows, but…
That’s about the only other factor I can see Apple exploring. They don’t even disclose details, so a product any sense line based on those things don’t of really make processor or RAM – you’ll never shop for an iPad the way you shop for a Dell. Part of Apple’s strength and success has always been its crystal clear product lines. Right now there’s one IOS and all you have to choose is front color, storage size and Wi-Fi or 3 g.
Next year, could it be budget iPad 2 8 GB or IOS 3 (by color, size, and radio), or could it be more? 7 inches for highly mobile readers, 9.7 inches for general purpose multitaskers, and 12 inches for professionals who push pixels or productivity? Next year, could the IOS go from product to product line? If the IOS is increasingly becoming the future of mainstream computing, will it have to?

As perhaps the one or received with others, I was a few weeks for 14 days ago in Mexico, to tell of a crazy vintage car rally. I have written, edited photos & videos at this time with the Fujitsu S761, which I have provided by our partner Fujitsu for travel available. The stability test device has passed it with flying colours: these 14 days, we have travelled over 4,000 miles on some very bumpy Mexican slopes and the notebook has survived it well when I got the message to see “Impact detected, HDD temporarily disabled” several times. I agree with the hard disk, however, the USB 2.0 port everything works as expected. A short search in the Web showed me that others also have the problem with other products. Seems to be unfortunately as if Windows still not really wants to support 3.0 connectors 7 USB from House. I’ve got the problem not really resolved to this day, although I have installed already have the latest USB 3.0 driver.
The battery life indicates “up to 8 hours” Fujitsu what but only can be achieved in my experience, if the device side running all the time with off display. If you work all the time with high screen brightness, hours are it but the 4-5, depending on how much the processor is claimed at that time. This is not enough who, which can the optical drive relatively simple against a second battery (2500 mAh) Exchange and extend to the runtime.
Conclusion: Who needs a mobile work machine with all the Extras and the security feature, absolutely safe access to the Fujitsu LifeBook S761. I could not find obvious weaknesses or in the Office life in the partly adverse circumstances of Mexico.

After it initially looked as if only the forums were attacked by steam, it is now clear that the hackers had access to passwords and customer data. These are indeed encrypted according to valve, but as digital barriers can be cracked again and again, this is only a consolation. Is strongly recommended to change their passwords to all steam users.
After the attack on the PlayStation Network earlier this year with fatal consequences (for me), is this now the second largest hacker attack on a gaming platform. Valve steam is one of more than 30 million customers. So far, the consequences for the parties concerned are still difficult foreseeable. In a press release valve President Gabe Newell informed while on the attack, he not provided exact figures however.
Samsung Galaxy nexus volume problem is probably a hardware defect
